TWO PRINCESSES AND A PRINCE – The Angels in our hearts
About Us
Losing a child is one of the most extreme pains a parent can experience, and the grief that follows can feel crushing. For parents who have tolerated neonatal demise, the journey through grief is an emotional rollercoaster—marked by sadness, anger, confusion, and even guilt. The dreams you had for your baby, the plans for their future, and the love you’ve poured into them are suddenly met with an unimaginable void.
In many cultures, including some societies in Ghana, discussing child loss openly is often shamed or degraded, and comes with a lot of stigmas negatively, leaving grieving parents feeling isolated. There’s an expectation to “move on” quickly, and the immense pain of loss is sometimes dismissed. However, grief has no timeline, and every parent’s journey is unique. It’s essential to break these cultural misconceptions and offer a space where families can feel seen, heard, and understood.
This organization stems out of a place of experiencing loss, spreading love and comfort, and providing support for families and individuals who have experienced infant or pregnancy loss whiles creating awareness to raise funds to support deprived NICU’s identified.
